Get Your Gemini API Key
Visit Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com) and create an API key. Google offers a free API tier that covers typical usage.
Paste Your API Key
Open MuteHint settings and paste your Gemini API key. Your key is encrypted locally and never sent to our servers.
Start Your First Session
Select a profile (Interview, Sales, Meeting…), join your call, and press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to start. You're live.

MuteHint is BYOK — Bring Your Own Key. Get a free API key from Google AI Studio and paste it into Settings. Your calls are processed directly between your machine and Google — we never see your conversation data.
