By accessing or using MuteHint ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

MuteHint provides an AI-powered desktop application that delivers real-time suggestions during video calls and meetings. The Service requires a desktop client installation and an active subscription for full access.

Features may vary by subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use MuteHint. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate, complete information when registering. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same individual.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MuteHint only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to deceive others in illegal or fraudulent ways, violate any applicable laws or regulations, interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems.

MuteHint is intended for personal professional use. Use in academic testing environments where AI assistance is prohibited is not permitted.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not provide partial refunds. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Intellectual Property

MuteHint and all related software, trademarks, and content are owned by MuteHint Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal professional use.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. You grant us no rights to your call content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI suggestions. MuteHint suggestions are intended to assist, not replace, your own judgment.

We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from the use of AI suggestions in your professional activities.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuteHint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to other users or the Service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
